| 2009 Trip Along the East Coast |
| |
Another trip in August with my wife, my sister and my brother-in-law. They are definately our comrades-in-traveling. We decided we needed to visit Mom and Dad's grave who are both buried at Arlington National Cemetry in Washington D.C. Off we went - straight up I-4 to I-95 and right into Washington. We took in some of the sights and then headed for the east coast. The rest of the 2 week trip was spent trying to stay as close to the shoreline as we could and make our way back to Florida along the east coast. |

Bike Week at Sturgis, SD. - 2008 Rally |
| |
This trip was in August of 2008 and taken by my brother-in-law (Bruce) and myself (Stev) to the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Our goal was to trailer our trikes there and meet up with my brother Micah and his buddy Bernard, both from Brevard, NC, and one of my brothers and my best fiends, Monte, from Springfield, Missouri. The routes we rode are marked in green and some of the points of interest are highlighted.

We had our trikes shipped to Salt Lake City and flew in to pick them up. Heading north out of SLC we first hit the Grand Tetons and continued on our route marked in black. A truly remarkable trip that took us through 5 National Parks and 5 States.

Minnesota to Florida Trike Trip in 2005 |
| |
This was the first year that we owned our trike. I had been riding a 2004 Harley Electra-Glide and we decided we needed more creature comforts for the road tours that we were committed to taking in the future. Grace and I decided to find out how the trike worked and this would be a trip for it. We had the trike shipped to Minneapolis and flew in to meet it. The first stop were relatives because that area is our 'old home town area." Graces' mom, Gladyce lived in a small town called Hendricks, Minnesota and Brooking, SD (about 24 miles away) is where Grace and I graduated from high school.. Uncles, aunts and many friends later we arrived back in Florida with a lot of miles under our belt and lots of great memories.

Washingto DC to Niagara Falls, Canada Bike Trip in 2005 |
| |
I got my first large motorcycle in my 20s and have been riding something-or-another for most of my life. In the early days it was mostly inexpensive transportation and short trips by myself because Grace and I were raising a family and it just wasn't her kind of fun. In 2002 I bought a Honda 750 just to cruise around on. Our kids were raised and off on their own and Grace developed the desire to ride with me. We soon graduated to a 2003 Honda 1300 VTX which I still own. The 1300 was the one we took on this trip. We took the AmTrac Auto Train to Washington, DC. from Orlando, FL. and started from there. One of the fiirst places we wanted to see was "ground zero" in New York and go from there. It was a fantastic trip with much to see and "hooked" us on motorcycle trouring as long as we're able.
